Youth GroupSunday Mornings: 10 am - Youth Sunday School (summer schedule: 9 a.m.) Sunday Evenings: 6-8 p.m. - Youth Group Coronas Youth Ministry welcomes all students who are in the 6th -12th grades. We are a highly relational ministry aimed at the development of healthy relationships between students, students and adults, and most importantly with Jesus Christ. It is in the context of healthy Christian relationships in a safe and nurturing environment that students come to a saving knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Youth are challenged, encouraged, and supported in their continuing growth as Christians living and serving in a fallen world. Programs are designed for junior high (middle school) and senior high students. Activities include weekly Sunday school programs focused on what the Bible really says and how it can be applied in our contemporary world. Weekly youth group meetings provide a time for worship, fellowship (we always have food), and a look at the issues of teenage life and what the Bible has to say about those issues. In addition to the weekly activities, we have a variety of special events throughout the year. These fun events include mission trips, summer conferences, a winter retreat, trips to Elitchs and Water World, community ministry opportunities, and lock-ins in which the youth stay at the church all night for supervised activities. We are a close group that likes to hang out with each other, but we are always ready to welcome new friends to our group. Both junior and senior high meet each Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. during the school year. Come check us out.
